Ombudsman (om'-budz-man) is a Swedish term that means citizen's representative. An Ombudsman helps to resolve conflicts between individuals in an independent, informal, confidential and neutral way. An Ombudsman does not take sides, but advocates for a fair process so that all parties involved may voice their concerns and disputes are addressed informally. Learn more |
